HEART JOURNAL PAGES

A few more pages from my heart journal. I don't work on it every day or even every week, but come back to it when something strikes me - words from a song, a turn of phrase, a photo or something I see...

I like that you have a heart journal Rhonda. I was reading about the cholesterol info you had in it. Pretty interesting that there are side effects for it when it is TOO LOW! Hmmmm. Fascinating. The way doctors talk you'd think that it's could never be too low! I had a little "episode" of my heart arrthymia again on Halloween (about half an hour) but then went away. The doctor did not seem overly upset. But it didn't make me happy. First one in two months, however. No meds at this time, other than high blood pressure meds. Loved your photo on Deb's blog!!! You look good and health!

Thanks, Ginny. I got that info from a book called Reverse Heart Disease Now by Stephen Sinatra and James Roberts, both cardiologists. I hope your arrthymia is not acting up again - I know it can be frightening. Did you know that, if you have heart problems, you are more likely to also have anxiety and can be frightened easily (a jumpiness about your personality)? I've been doing well lately - keeping my fingers crossed and my hands out of the cookie jar :)
Thanks, Vicki and Suzanne (that was a cherry I changed to look more heart-like).
Bill, thanks for stopping by and commenting - I'm behind in catching up with what you've been doing lately. May get some time to browse my fave blogs today.

Love how your heart journal is progressing! Interesting about anxiety and jumpiness.

Is this journal your way of de-stressing about heart disease, Rhonda? If so, is it helping? I've looked at several of your entires - very interesting, and creative too.
I should make a journal about blood test results. Every time I get one thing back into the normal range, two new ones come up highlighted. Sigh!

Thanks, Pam. My hubby always laughs at my outrageous "startle" response to even turning the corner to find him coming towards me in the hallway - it's not like I didn't know he was in the house! haha
Michelle, yes, it began as a way to destress and get some stuff out about this heart issue and learn a bit more than what the cardiologist was willing to share with me so began reading, taking notes, etc.
