Suzanne, I took your advice on the next Moley-Doodle and used colored pens. I'll post it next. You're right about the contrast of the 2B pencil on the beige paper = not the greatest although I could have amped up the contrast in the photo before posting it - but then it wouldn't have been true to the sketch. Oh, well, it's just a doodle!

Cool! Not to tell you what to do (!) but I think this might be worth trying with pen and ink or a felt tip pen. The contrast would be stronger...
