CAPTURED THE MOON

Captured the Moon

We're getting towards the end of April and the Crow Challenge for myself will be over.

Then I'll repost all of the paintings with information about size, what paper they are on, etc.  Then we can have a give-away based on who wants one and wants to enter the give-away (I guess I'll do a random number drawing to see who wins and there will be more than 1 winner).  I'll send out the rules when all the crows are done :)

This is certainly a great piece Rhonda. I love all the colors in the crow you managed to paint in him. Have a great day.

This one's a real beauty--the scribbled crayon (or pastel?) over the moon is just brilliant, perfectly evokes wispy fast moving clouds.
What a wonderful series this has been, and congrats to you for sticking to it! That really impresses a quitter like me! :-)
I will definitely be entering!

So glad you enjoy these last ones for the month, Laurie, Chris, Debbie, Laura and Jennifer - almost time for the give-away!! Laura, the moon was made first by rubbing in the circle and then outwards with a white wax candle - put in the yellow watercolor pigment over the top after the painting was done. Glad you like it!
