ONE MORE TURTLE AND THEN...

This was done on a scrap of the 7 x 10 rough paper.  Just a little bookmark size painting of a turtle.  They have turtles come up on the beaches to lay eggs on Anna Maria Island, but only during the season of May - October.

And then it's time for mermaids :)

These are adorable Rhonda. Turtles are such lovely creatures to study. Amazing how long they live too. Well take care. Hugs!

Thanks, Debbie and Elizabeth :) Turtles are favorites of so many people and seeing them swimming in the water beside you (which I've had the pleasure to do twice) is amazing (but also a bit scary when you think of your fingers waggling in the water and what they look like to a turtle = food?!?).
