ROSE OF ULTRAMARINE

The title found me when I picked up the tube of new Rose of Ultramarine pigment by Daniel Smith - lovely, deep, rich, purple with undertones of cerulean blue.

(See how the pillow on the left faded out so much into the 300# paper?  I'm going to have to amp up the color in places to make this one sing.

You have been busy Rhonda, lots of ideas and rich colours. The still life pieces work so well together and your imagination makes them sing with brilliance. Such a creative time for you!

Dear Rhonda - you will certainly find a way to make this one sing. That color is beautiful...have yet to add this one to my stock. Will be thinking about doing so soon. Take care and have a lovely weekend.

Great title - beautiful color, Rhonda! You're off to another good start.
Amazing that the color on the pillow would fade like that. I don't have much experience with 300#. Thanks for the warning.
