CHERRIES CHAIR AND TULIPS

This painting was fighting me every step of the way from the first total fail to this.

Even pulled out some oil pastels and a bit of white gouache.  Not worried about it not being pure watercolor, as these are still learning pieces.

It is done.
That is about all I can say about it.
Some you win, some you do not.

Rhonda - your colors all work so well together. I can see the tones of aqua for the background behind the chair echoed in the drops on the floor and then in the vase on the right side. All this with the colors of red and white being shown in different places within the painting keep the eye moving. Hope you will be doing more of these. Hugs!

I think the tulips look great and the brown wavy lines help to pull you eye around the painting :)

Rhonda, you did a wonderful job! We do not need to and cannot create a masterpiece every time. It's not a matter of win or lose. All and each work is on our process of growing and in a long journey of art. Don't be tough on you. Let's celebrate your achievement. Best wishes, Sadami

Thanks so much, Debbie, Jennifer Rose and Sadami for sticking to this one as I worked through things - and am still working through things! ha ha
