Long and soft landscape. Lots of green Still practice practice practice to get it right. Sometimes I think I've got it, and then it eludes me again. Watercolor takes a lifetime to master!
I think it's part of the attraction that it is so difficult. This one has a lovely rainy atmosphere, like looking at the rainstorm out of the window that we had yesterday.
Thanks, Sadami, Lisa, Jennifer Rose and Laura :). Yep, Jennifer, those are thumbtacks - I tack all my paintings up on my cork board to photograph them. Most of the time you can’t see the tacks but this is a tiny little scrap of paper so you can see them - sorry :(. If I’m doing something I want to mat and frame, I’m more careful with the tacks, too, so they won’t show but on a slight edge of the paper that will be covered.

Oh, Rhonda, you're creating lovely work! Yes, my motto is "Watercolor takes a lifetime to master, PLUS 30 minutes." Cheers, wink, wink, Sadami

ack!! are those thumbtacks in the corners? :p
So true. It's a lifetime of learning, which is part of the appeal (I guess--though sometimes, when I'm feeling frustrated,I'm not so sure about that!)
