LITTLE LEAF EXPERIMENT

Trying to work on the iPad and update some blog posts.  I’ll be talking to the local tech guy about the photo all disappearing from the desktop and what can be done to try to retrieve all those - I hope!!!

Until then, this isn’t as quick and easy (or familiar) to do on the iPad but it’s do-able, so...

Hope you all are having a better November than I.
I’ve had 4 migraines (which means 8 days) of pain or aftereffects of pain so far this month :(. And that was before I lost all the photos on Sweetie’s computer!!

This is another small scrap of paper wet-in-wet trying to vary the colors of the leaves.  This could be a fun experiment, just playing with any colors, doesn’t have to be found in nature :)

Oh, no! Migraines! So sorry to hear this, Rhonda. I had one migraine-like headache in my entire life and I will NEVER forget it!
And boom - then the photo issue. Hope that is resolved very soon.
With the exception of your beautiful paintings, November seems to have gotten off to a bad start for you. Trusting you are over the hump!!

The migraine problem is rough, I'm sorry you're dealing with that. I admire that you keep on with picking up brushes!

Rhonda I am so sorry to hear about your migraines. I am sure one is more than enough but to have four...hope you have something to take that relieves them.

I as well hate computer problems...I know sometimes good tech people are able to recover photos...will be hoping that is the case for yours.

I love the way you are playing with colors...sometimes splashing around with color leads to great adventures and successes.

Take care friend. Will be "looking up" for you. Hugs!

ugh sorry to read about the migraines :( they are more than bad enough, but the fried brain feeling after isn't nice either :/

I love your colours in the leaves, it's such fun painting with watercolours. I used to get migraine headaches every few weeks so I know how awful they are, in fact it is the worst pain I have ever had. I have been free from them for many years now and haven't had any since I was put onto high blood pressure medication, even though at the time my blood pressure wasn't high. My migraines always felt like a throbbing in my temples as well as the vision and movement sensations. May be worth looking into if you haven't already.

So sorry the migraines are back. I remember how you suffered with them last year. Is it a weather/atmospheric pressure/temperature thing? You have my sympathy they can really knock the stuffing out of a person. I will keep my fingers crossed they don't linger for you. Gentle hugs.

Thanks so much for your comments, Chris (yes, 5 so far this week and I’m getting so tired of it - patience is in order as the clusters will end, and I do think it has to do with changing weather/something in the air I’m allergic to/etc). I LOVE your latest portrait of the dog but even more so, the story of how you adopted Cobie and how he finally let his guard down and allowed himself to be loved and safe :). I posted twice on your blog but it didn’t come through - Blogger being particular now on whose blogs I can get through and yours is on the DO NOT POST list for now - hope that changes as I have no idea why it’s doing this to just some blogs and not all blogs?

Thanks so much, Alice Jo, Debbie, Jennifer, and Lisa :). The migraines will go away soon (I hope) but I do tend to get them in clusters in the late fall and here they are, just like clockwork :(. Hateful things!!

Thanks, Rosie, for you comment on the painting and the migraines - I’ve had these things since I was 21 and lately not so bad but in late fall I get them in a cluster, every day or so. No one knows what causes that - my BP is low but I did hear that beta blockers will prevent migraines to maybe that’s what your doc put you on (I tried them and they didn’t work for me).
