GREEN LANDSCAPE

Square landscape.

Lots of wet-in-wet and waiting for the right time to darken (and getting it wrong and trying again).
When this wet-in-wet style is done well, it looks so easy and beautiful and fresh.  That's what I'm aiming for with this practice practice practice.

Thanks, Jennifer. I don’t usually play with greens, either, but have done a few little practice pieces, trying to get the timing right for the wet-in-wet. I still find myself waiting too long (leaving the room and coming back to dry paper that has to be rewet), or trying to add all the color when it’s still too wet. Timing is everything and I’m sometimes getting it and sometimes not. Oh, well, 50-50 is better than it was! ha ha

Charming--it's like a little window. And this is a good idea, too!
