Fabliau of Florida
by Wallace Stevens
Barque of phosphor
On the palmy beach,
Move outward into heaven,
Into the alabasters
And night blues.
Foam and cloud are one.
Sultry moon-monsters
Are dissolving.
Fill your black hull
With white moonlight.
There will never be an end
To this droning of the surf.
Since I just returned from the northeastern part of Florida, I thought I'd share a couple more photos and this lovely poem.
I also want to thank my new followers :) I am not at 129. Most of the newest ones I haven't featured yet do not have blogs so I'll wait until I get 3 or more and then share with you all.

The sea is always of great fascination and inspirations. in my younger days I went to Daytona different times , and I still clearly remember the magnetism of this immense sea.
Don't forget invisible me--you have 130 followers. Nice poem and photos. The crow painting from yesterday is looking great.
Yes, there is something hypnotic about watching the waves rolling in and out - you can spend hours just sitting and looking and doing nothing else :)
Didn't forget you, Hallie. I wonder if you are still in the count there - will have to check :)
FLORIDA IS JUST A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO LIVE BUT SO IS N.Y..
