Once in a Blue Moo

Yep, you read that right!
It's called Once in a Blue Moo!
Also on gold gessoed watercolor paper (1/4 sheet).
Just something fun...

Will have to show this one to my husband since the brown cow looks just like his!!!
And - a couple weeks ago driving down I-74 I looked over to see 2 PURPLE COWS in a field! Couldn't believe it and told the family (who thought I was an idiot). Couple days later my son was on his way into the city and called me to tell me that I was a moron - they weren't purple cows but horses draped with blankets - one purple, one dark blue! (The upside of this story is that my son actually listened to what I had to say!!!!).
Also - belated happy birthday!

Thanks, Nava and Deb :) Deb, tell your son this:
I never saw a purple cow
I never hope to see one
But let me tell you here and now
I'd rather see than be one!
I bet he was looking each time he drove by for those purple cows!
Um, maybe the horses were far away...or do you need new glasses?

When I saw your blue cow Rhonda, I thought of the fairy tale or story about the big, big man with the blue cow. Can't remember his name though (senior moment). Like your creativity in painting an everyday subject outside the norm.

Thanks, Sandy! Have a great time at the Kanuga workshop and bring back lots of new and exciting info and techniques :)
Ann, do you mean Paul Bunyon and his big blue ox, Babe? I actually saw a statue of them in Minnesota (I think it was in Minnesota). It wasn't the same one they show in Fargo (the movie).
