The amaryllis was slow to bloom but when it began it really burst out with blooms. The one Sweetie purchased for me (for January birthday) had 3 bulbs in a pot and when it had 5 blooms on each bulb!! Crazy beautiful! Had to try to paint some of them.
This is on Hahnemuehl watercolor paper 140# cold press and I love the way the paper helps the watercolor do its thing.

Rhonda...I have been revisiting my old blog and so many comments were from you. Could we reconnect now? I'd love that!

Hi, Susan! You were on FB for a while but seemed to drop off - I’m glad you are still keeping your art blogs going and will check on what you are doing. Hope you are feeling well and enjoying spring!! It’s good to hear from you.
Those reds are spectacular: vibrant but not heavy! Gorgeous!
