We have egrets here now - there weren't any when I moved to this area. Everything seems to stop and be completely still holding it's breath when you see them fishing. You have captured that stillness in the painting with the symmetry and reflection. It's got the abstract surreal feeling watching the birds gives me.
I was happy with the way this one turned out and how abstracted the layers are but still look like landscape sections :) I appreciate so much all your visits and comments on all my work but I am really happy when you like one I like, too :) Thanks so much, Sadami, Asit, Barbara Joan, Chris, Jennifer Rose, Lisa - I like getting wows!! ha ha You described the feeling of seeing an egret beautifully, Lisa - a stillness comes over everything and everyone.
