Rhonda, thanks for your concern about the storm.. we weren't hit bad here . I'm in the furthest northern part of the state. Just a few miles from the Georgia border. But oh geez, I feel so bad for the rest of the state.
I like your idea of pulling things from the home to paint. I have a few nice white ironstone pieces and might attempt it. Your painting is lovely and it probably means something personal to you.. Good work...
Thanks so much, Chris, Debbie, and Barbra Joan :). I do think I am trying to push my colors a bit, Chris, and enjoying getting some juicy colors in these paintings. Still playing with color and composition and think I'll get it right...soon.
Barbra Joan, so glad you survived the storm and it looks like Maria will not hit Florida :). I do enjoy pulling things around the house to look at and maybe use in paintings right now. They do mean something to me but I hope they resonate with viewers, too.

Love watching this painting develop, Rhonda!!
Gorgeous color palette, BTW!
Rhonda this is looking super...the blue in the bottle and clock keep my eye moving. Hope you are having a wonderful September day.
