SEEING RED - BUT IN A GOOD WAY

Walking in the boot to the back deck and finding lots of reds all around, so took a few photos.

I love those little red berries that look like they have just popped out of their skins ... but no idea what they are! I used them this weekend in two wreath-making workshops I attended. I kept going for the reds--berries of all kinds and sprigs of burning bush!

Yes, that’s called Winter Creeper, a variety of eunoymous. They have been there since we’ve been here but not sure if the previous owners planted it or if the birds planted it :). The bright pops of red here and there in a dull landscape give one something to look forward to during the winter :). I haven’t seen the birds eating the berries but maybe they do - it’s on the side of the house so can’t see it unlee you go onto the deck and look.

Wonderful reds Rhonda. Hope you are doing alright with that boot. Take care. Glad to read that you made it back to your art room. You may find this down time to be one of your most creative. Take care!

Thanks, Debbie. Getting better at moving around and even walking (slowly and carefully) without it inside the house for a little while. Start Physical Therapy Monday so hope that helps with the stiffness and pain - and movement issues.
