ROYAL TERNS FOR PHYLLIS - STEP 2

Almost finished - think I need to work on the eyes a bit and then it's done.

This is the smaller version I'll mail to Phyllis when it's finished.

Now to finish the larger version...

Just and amazing painting Rhonda. Your birds are just so great. It is always fun to see what you are doing each week. Take care and stay warm. It is still very cold here in my part of the woods. Hugs!

Thanks, Debbie and Jennifer Rose. I tried to keep the textured ground not too much but enough to show what I was seeing in the photo.

Catching up on your blog is always a joy. I really like your 'Elvis' birds :o) You are having a very prolific start to the year dispite the cold. It is very wet here and the days have been quite dark. In spite of this I have a small patch of paperwhites flowering in a sheltered spot in the garden and the earliest signs of Spring are starting to show here. I hope they do for you too soon and it starts to warm up. Until then hunkering down with a book sounds lovely.

Thanks, Lisa. Glad you're enjoying the birds so far. Many more to come. Winter is dreary everywhere, I think, but sounds like it's mild enough for your flowers to have hope of spring :). Pretty warm this weekend and I hope it lasts.
