ACRYLIC INK GEODES

Again, on TerraSkin "paper" that has been covered with acrylic gloss medium and allowed to dry.  Then the acrylic ink color dripped onto the paper and allowed to move into a shape of a geode.  Did not use the string gel with this one but kept lifting the color before it dried (with a damp brush).

4 x 6 inches

Geode: Red and Pink

Lots of interesting things going on here, I love that you love to experiment with different products.
When I go into an art shop I look for something new and it gets my mind going , then I try it out, mix it up with other things and see what happens. To answer your question, I will watch and see how the ink lasts on paper, it is all an experiment, I don't really know but will be fun finding out! It has changed in colour, from plum/ maroon to deeper blues.
I am impressed you have blogged for 9 years, well done. I am a blogger, it suits me, as I like my own time.
Keep up the good work, happy painting. Millyx

Hi Rhonda,
Very powerful! I like this a whole lot. Only wish I knew why, and was literate enough to let you in on it. Shapes and color arranged in a "pleasing" way. Yeah...maybe that's it.
Have a nice Sunday!
Sincerely,
Gary.

Thanks, Milly. It is fun to experiment and see where things take you :) You do the same with your natural inks.

Thanks, Jennifer Rose!

Gary, I'm glad you like it, it doesn't matter why! ha ha Like the man said, "I don't know much about art but I know what I like." Have a great week to come.
