HAPPY NEW YEAR - AND WHAT'S YOUR RESOLUTION?

My New Year's resolution this year is to stop using exclamation points so frequently.  (I'm just not that excited anymore.)

May your 2011 be twice as good as 2010.
May your body be strong,
your spirit be willing,
and may you spend the year walking a path
that takes you to wonderful stopping points along the way.

Happy New Year

Hi Rhonda,
What a wonderful post! I'm wishing you all the best in 2011. My theory about resolutions is they are too stressful so I avoid them hah.

Thank you for your great wishes.
Happy New Year to you!
I am glad to meet you this year and I did use exclamation only once.
My resolution is to enjoy every day of my life, not to kill time as I used to the past year.

I agree with you about resolutions, Jane - they seem just another cause for stress (maybe we just aim too high?).

Irina, what a wonderful resolution and one I'm sure you'll attain.

Carol, you made me laugh this morning when I read your comment :) You may not be excited, but you sure SOUND like you ARE!! (that's my quota of exclamation marks for the day).

Hello Rhonda and a Very Happy New Year to you too! I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful watercolour paintings. I don't have a resolution I just simply look to live each day in the best way I can creatively as it arrives!

Caroline, your resolution is the best - take every day as artfully as possible :)

Rhonda! Sorry about that migraine!! Drat!!! Hope you feel better tomorrow!!!! I thought you needed a head transplant because you were getting senile!!!!! But, no, guess it's me that needs one for that reason!!!!!! Hope to see you soon (I really am excited about that)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deb, you used your quota of exclamation marks for the year on that post!!!! ha ha

Prabha, I think taking it one week at a time is a good idea - that way, you don't get so down on ourselves when we miss a "goal" that may have been too unrealistic. A sketch or a painting every couple of days seems reasonable to me :)

Thank you for your well wishes for the new year! Right back at you :)
No resolution this year.... just a word. Simplify!

Pam, that's a hard one - to simplify when all we want is more more more :) Hope you succeed.
