Good morning, morning glory
Good morning, what's your story?
Good morning, where'd you spend the night?
Good morning, what's your story?
Good morning, where'd you spend the night?
Where did your night dreams take you?
Sorry but I had to wake you.
Oh, I just had to make you shed your special morning light on me...
(From an old song I remember written and sung by Bobbie Gentry - if you remember her, you are probably as old as I am.)

Your morningglories are beautiful. They are certainly tough to look so delicate. I am glad that you are able to do a bit more and are being careful not to overdo. Vicki
Rhonda,
Morning Glories rate righ tup there with Irises and Hollyhocks as my fav flowers so I so enjoyed seeing these. I don't think they do very well in the desert since I never see them growing here. I can enjoy seeing your photos, though!
Hi, Vicki and Susan - as always, I appreciate you sticking with me even though I'm not putting up any new paintings right now :)
Susan, I don't know why your comment came through twice - I'll delete one.
I lied - I can grow tiger lilies, too - they take no care and still grow big and bright in the front yard :) But that's really it!
Hi -
I have been searching for this song....It's been gentle on my mind for oh so long... Yup - I guess we are both from that age. It was a glorious time, a lovely era, and your painting depicts the feeling of the song so beautifully. Thanks. Sounds like you went through something tough, and so I wish you well - and I wish the world more paintings by you. Tamar A
Thanks so much for your comments, Tamar. It was a lovely song. Bobbie Gentry had a wonderful voice. I'm glad it touched you when you found the blog :)
