SIMPLE

Simple take on a painting in a Jeanne Dobie book.  Changed colors but basic shapes the same.  So just playing with whites and seeing what goes well with the dark green I used for the background.

Ah Rhonda looks like you are having fun experimenting. I love to see the whites in a painting. Often it is hard with watercolors to keep them bright and lovely. You have certainly accomplished this in the painting. Hope you have a great weekend. Hugs!

I LOVE that book.
The bokah effect you got in the green works really well.

I hadn’t opened that book for a long time and saw this simple design - I put more violets in my white and more bokeh in the background but I like it enough as a study/play piece.
