A little painting of a little crab spider on the back of a little flower. Sweetie critiqued this one (it’s from one of his photos) by saying, “You forgot his eyes and there are 8 of them”. This is why I don’t paint portraits - I really love anything from nature (most people wouldn’t want to paint this subject).

I myself am not a spider fan, but I'm not a spider killer, either. We cohabitate. There's one who lives under my kitchen window's sill, and I let him alone, hoping he's eating lots of little ants.
I like that the spider and the center of the flower are similar greens ... makes it's easier for me to look at the spider! Which is nicely drawn, btw!
