DARKER BACKGROUND

Darkened some places in the background.  Done.  Looks like he's doing his morning stretches.

Now time to do a little postcard with a bee buzzing on it :)

And it's finally March with hopes of spring!  The last few days of February brought so much rain that the Ohio River went past flood stage and stayed that way for days.  Many streets are closed and some towns along the Ohio have homes flooded - and yet, people still are shown trying to drive through 3 feet of water and having to be rescued.  Hope it dries out for everyone soon.

For being an all black crow he certainly has a lot of color to him.. And the background is perfect.

Gorgeous painting! I am looking forward to seeing those spring greens soon.

Our weather seems to be a bit all over the place again doesn't it. Sorry you are experienceing flooding in your area - so much damage can happen so quickly and it's not always things that can be replaced. We had snow (the first for eight years) with freezing rain on top. It had to be smashed with spades to get to the snow underneath to make a snowman :o)

I love this! I raised a raven, Nicademus, who was my favorite pet ever. This captures a raveon/crow perfectly. Nice work.

What a fine looking fellow your crow is. I hope the floods are not too bad Rhonda. They say England will have floods when all the snow melts. We are OK here near the coast. It always amazes me that folk will go out driving when really it is best to stay home and be safe!

people are idiots when they try to go through that much water, and then they waste people's time getting rescued due to their own stupidity

the background colours go great with the raven :)

Thanks, Barbra Joan, I was going for colorful but still reading dark or black :)

Lisa, you are having the weather our northeast coast is having. We have been spared this winter and are lucky for it, and no flooding here in my neighborhood.

Alice Jo, I love that name and am jealous that you had a pet raven!!

Caroline, thanks so much. No floods in my neighborhood but others closer to the Ohio River were not so lucky and are now doing the dreadful cleanup that comes from water standing in one's home for a week :(

Jennifer Rose, I'm with you - if I did not know how deep water was running over the street, I'd avoid it - I'd rather be a coward and too cautious than be in deep water and ruin my vehicle + need help from fire department or police to get out. Some people just don't think, I guess.
