FLYING

OK, my laptop died - now my Keurig coffee maker (after just receiving a new box of K-cups).  What next?

Time to fly away.  Perhaps a cabin in the woods.  Or a cottage on the beach.  Or...

Another crow, using only Lunar Black by Daniel Smith.  A great pigment.

Found this beautiful male cardinal on the ground the other day :(
We still have 3 males and 3 or 4 females coming to the feeders.  I wonder, if they were all mated up, what happens to the lone female?

Rhonda your black bird is really beautiful. It has the freshness of a Chinese painting.Sad about the red cardinal bird I wonder what happened to her.

Thanks, Caroline. I think he may have hit a window in the sunroom. It happens, even though I have large panels/stickers on the windows so they can see them. A hawk has been around and might have startled him.

cardinals often choose a new mate next time around so his mate should be fine

can you use the k-cups with just boiling water?

Thanks, Jennifer Rose. I do hope she chooses another mate from the others left around. I think the worst of our winter is over so they should be fine and they enjoy coming to the feeders and filling up (hope they nest in our shrubs by the window again so I can see the babies, but they haven't done that for a few years).
