COLOR PLAY DRIFTWOOD

I don't know about you, but I think I'm tired of the birds for now.  Plus, I want to be thinking more about color color color for the upcoming Carol Carter workshop.
So...with that in mind...

Here is a half sheet painting of driftwood, just playing with color.

Carol Carter workshop? I am green with envy (to use a colourful descriptor). I'm hoping you do your usual marvellous blog posts about the workshop.

Dear Rhonda - this is very lovely. I do love your birds too but maybe with spring coming we will start to paint some green!! One can hope. Have a great time with your workshop.

Vandy, yes, I am lucky to get her to come to our watercolor society for a workshop - 3 days of color fun!!

Debbie, thanks, I don't do green well but need to try harder!

Carol, thanks - she's coming to the Cincinnati area - just a 10 minute drive for me.

Sherry, thanks.

Lovely painting Rhonda you have captured the Carol Carter colorful washes in your driftwood painting. Looking forward to hearing how the workshop goes.

Oh I really love this Rhonda! It's almost abstract--and the colors are phenomenal.
The composition reminds me of a lot of your bird paintings ...
I better get some practice, but not much more time.
