DARKENING SOME WISHY-WASHY PAINTINGS

Before =
wishy-washy without any oomph due to painting
wet-in-wet and not going back in with darks.

After -
better by adding darks and more visual interest
to the painting overall.

Sometimes, painting wet-in-wet creates some wimpy paintings.  Too light and not enough value changes (for me).

Sometimes you need those darks to make the light shine - as in painting, so in life.

the darks really work well, art is mostly about values, well maybe except conceptual art where values and tones dont usually play a part

Rhonda great job of making those darks stand out. I always struggle with values too. Hugs!
