FUNKY CHICKEN

Another bird done using a lot of texturing techniques Val Webb shares in her Painting Birds in Watercolor and Beyond online course.    I have to admit, chickens are not my favorite birds, but I did enjoy trying out some of the texturing techniques.

If you're interested in Val's work and her online courses, check out her blog here and, because the site she uses to provide her videos was not working Monday, she posted the videos/links to videos on her blog.  So you can get a sneak peek of her work!!

And guess what we're going to do next?  Crows!!! YAY!!!

Now Rhonda - for not like chickens - you did a superb job on this one. Thanks for sharing Val's site. Have a great week and don't get too excited about those crows!!

Thanks, Sadami. I don't know if it's a male or female chicken, since I know nothing about chickens! ha ha

Debbie, thanks so much. Enjoy Val's site - she shares a lot of info there.

Thanks, Carol. Crow is coming along...
