NATIONAL COFFEE DAY

Today is National Coffee Day.  Guess we Americans drink so much coffee we have to have a special day to commemorate our addiction.

So - meet me at the nearest Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Peets, Caribou Coffee, or Borders (Seattle's Best) shop - and then lets take a long walk in the September woods!

Gorgeous! Oh - I'd love to sit down over coffee and chat ... but blog visits will have to fill-in... Have a lovely day.

national coffee day? never heard of! :P Ok, go get your latte but don't forget to come back and paint something, I'm loving your latest small studies and later bigger renditions of those inspirational landscapes you visited

I'm not a coffee drinker myself, but I'll raise a cup of chai tea in your direction. Now go celebrate with a steaming cup of Grande Venti Whatchamacallit. We'll *clink* cups from afar to celebrate.

Hey, I just happen to have my favorite cup filled with steaming hot coffee in my hand right now. Gee, all my calendar say is that I have a staff meeting at 4 p.m. which means a 45 min. drive both ways for a two hr. meeting. I'd rather meet you for coffee.....

Claire, we must just raise our cups and celebrate virtually until we can meet in person :)

Teresa, you Spaniards don't drink coffee? Yes you do!!

Lisa, tea is good, too, especially in these cooler days.

Carol, sorry about your long drive and longer meeting - taking along a nice cup of something delicious might make it easier?

I think they make these things up just to amuse. However, Coffee Day? Great by me as I'm a huge coffee fan, day or night.

the trees look lovely and majestic

Jeanette, I'm sure you're right - so many National whatever Days, I wonder who does make these things up? Well, I'll sit here with my first cup of the day and think about that for a while :)

Gretchen, better late than never! ha ha Have 2 cups today!

We just don't get a national day for it... YET ;) But still I'll let you drink the coffee if you let me drink the chocolated milk, deal?

Teresa, you can have the chocolate milk, sweetie, if you want :) But some of the coffee drinks are just as good!
