A THANK YOU CARD FROM SANDY

I received a little gem in the mail yesterday afternoon. This lovely card was painted by Sandy with beautiful thoughts inside and a thank you to me for Monday's day together - including climbing in the studio window! ha ha

The colors are my favorites and this paper is a handmade Indian paper, soft and velvety. The painting is expertly done - simple yet elegant. What a treasure!

Thank you, Sandy!

Vicki and Bill,
It is amazing to me that Sandy is handpainting every thank you card to those who send her food, flowers, take her somewhere (outside of the house is a treat for her right now if it's not going to PT!), or come by and paint with her! Each one a little gem mailed off to a painting friend :) A treasure to keep forever! She just can't stop painting - which is a good thing for all of us.
Bill, my favorite thing I painted for Sandy was a birthday card - she is a fanatic about removing miskit (always sees more on your painting when you think it's clean as a whistle), so I made her a card of a zebra with the white stripes all miskited - so she could remove the miskit (which she loves to do)!

Rhonda,
I've painted a few thank you cards but sent a bunch of regular, store bought ones too. How I wish I had the stamina to do each one. And I still have that ZEBRA birthday card but now with no miskit left on it.
