OCTOBER LEAVES

Fall is the time to walk in the woods, gather leaves and sneeze (ragweed).

My models and a start on 140# cold press watercolor paper.

Just need to add the shadows to ground the leaves.

Rhonda these are wonderful. I have been gathering some of these as well. Their colors certainly inspire me to get my brushes working. Went back and caught up on your last posts. Bet that nature sketchbook is full of wonderful treasures. I have been painting acorns this past week. Great subject for me and I have a yard filled with them. Have a great day. Hugs!

Thanks, Lisa and Debbie! There really is nothing more inspiring than fall leaves and I have been picking some up to save and paint :). Love acorns, too, Debbie, and the face that the squirrels always leave me a few leftovers on my front steps :) ha ha.
