GEL PRINTER’S SUMMIT 2025

Gel Printer’s Summit for 2025 began last week and I only have had time for this one - made the prints and then glued some to the front of one of my sketchbooks.  I liked it before I went a little crazy with the Posca pen markers but not too bad.  Two weeks’ of lessons and I haven’t had time to do more than these two sketchbook decoarated fronts, but it’s okay.  I can save them and do them later…

No additions to this one except the crow stamp because the far left blue mark looked like a crow to me.

Crows!!!! This made me smile, I wonder where they have been hiding.

On another note, not crows but a raven...I discovered a glass artist on Instagram, Preston Singletary, how have I not seen his work before? Stunning glass and mythology. I wondered if it would appeal to you.

Best wishes.

Those crows are never too far away, Lisa :). I will check out Singletary and his work!

Great to see you still blogging Rhonda, and thanks for visiting my long neglected site. So you're also into the gelli plates - I love playing with them, when I can get out all the gear but haven't had huge success so far...lots of collage paper piling up! Glad to see your crows still going strong, in lovely print form!

Happy to see you back in time for more lovely jacaranda paintings. Looking forward to it. I have a lot of gel plate prints around and often just tear and paste them onto matboard or use them to make little cards on Strathmore artist cards (white), also gluing them on to make designs, etc. I don’t often make big things with them but I do love the unexpectedness of gel printing :). Hope you are having a good spring.
