PLAYING WITH COLOR AND SHAPE

A couple of small pieces on scraps of watercolor paper.

Just playing with colors and shapes and seeing what happens.

No rhyme or reason in mind when I start.  They still look pretty organic to me so that seems to be my thing.

Is it not fun to just play with colors and shapes? I find when I do this it can lead to seeing things in a different light. Love your little vase from the previous post. Hugs!

just go with the flow, if organic is your thing right now, then just go with it 😀

That's a great exercise, Rhonda, and looks like fun. I need to try that: quiet my conscious mind for a while!

Thanks so much, Debbie, Jennifer and Laura. I have a end-of-summer slump, as usual. I’m sure I’ll get out of it in a few days or weeks. Right now, just not evening making myself paint but watching a lot of tennis (the US Open from New York) and reading - also dealing with some family stuff. I will be glad when the cooler weather comes and stays and we can decide whether we are even going on our yearly trip to Anna Maria, FL or if the COVID risk is too great (in spite of us both being fully vaccinated).
