I am enjoying this series. It has been so different but so 'you'. This one is on another level - very special. I do hope you frame it. I can hear the water and feel the spray. It is at once exhilarating and calming. I can imagine it commanding a big space to itself in an exhibition. One of those that you see from across a room and it draws you in.

Good morning Rhonda

Sorry for the absence... Life has simply gotten in the way and distracted me from my usual routines... and my visits to your site.

Your latest explorations have taken you to new and exciting growth Rhonda. Mentors... with new ideas (to you) always inspire growth and the joy of your craft.

I would stay your course and see where it leads you. These last posts in July represent HUGE learning and growth for you!

Bravo... and good painting!!
Warmest regards,
Bruce

Thanks, Jennifer and Lisa :) Yes, this has taken me out of the painting a pretty thing type of painting I always do - although I try to break free of that at times. This is just pure imagination and seeing what the colors will do and what they cause me to move towards. Now, whether I stay with this or just incorporate it into other things..we'll see! I appreciate all the support as I go through another "phase"! ha ha

Bruce, no need to apologize as we all go through ups and downs in our art and blogging - sometimes we just don't have the time and other times we just don't feel like chatting about what we're doing. I know you are always doing, though!! Mentors who make you say, "What if I tried that?" are wonderful artists whether they know they've influenced you or not. I do like learning this way and playing with the colors (if I think of it as play, I don't put too much pressure on myself to "succeed" at something!!).

I hope to continue through the summer and see how many paintings I come up with - just for me, not for any final outcome - hope you all come along!
