Super cool Rhonda and I just love Papa Red from your previous post. Hope you have a great weekend. Looks like the weather has finally turned the corner here - hoping you are having the same experience. Hugs!
Good wintery morning Rhonda!... We too are in the midst of a weather alert and winter revival! WE too have our own resident "Papa Red" and her Ladyship visiting for breakfast each morning. Their presence helps soothe the bitter pangs of nasty days and the reluctance of spring to jump fully in!
Your water color is lovely... but "Dark Angel" resonates with me more in a creative sense. The rear view prence is in itself seldom used by artists and the pathway into an expressive... whatever???? certainly echoes in my heart that Death and Darkness are ever ready to pounce. Fact is... no one gets out of this life... alive!
Not pessimistic in any sense Rhonda. I approach that same reality as you are. I paint my way through... and past the fear that is associated with that statement.
Bravo.. my Friend! A winner in every way! New ground!!
Thanks, Debbie :). Glad you liked the cardinal and this one (different, for sure). Thanks, Barbra Joan. Glad you like it.
Bruce, you got it, exactly - sometimes our angels turn away, or are dark, not light and careful with our lives. You know that very well - and so do I. Glad you have cardinals to brighten your days in the snow (no snow, but rain rain rain here). Daffodils and crocus and forsythia blooming but soggy. I’m painting my way through stuff now, Bruce, and hope to come out the other side, mostly in tact :). Glad you like the Dark Angel.

This is stunning Rhonda. LOVE IT!
Thanks, Deb, Jennifer Rose and Elizabeth. I’m so happy others like it as much as I do - it just happened and that is the best kind of art-making :).
