BLUE RAIN CROW

Darkness below her, and deep blues closing in around her.  Dull grey surroundings closing in.

Blue Rain Crow

Watercolor on Arches 140# coldpress paper

15 x 22 inches

Think I'll just draw in the crow in graphite, pale and almost disappearing.

Finished.

I like the dreamlike quality to this one and the previous crow...I feel like the birds are static and the background is going at warp speed - like they are cawing out a message or warning. The ambiguity makes for many different readings.

As an aside, I have been reading a collection of Neruda's odes lately and came across his 'Ode to bees' it made me think of you. I wondered if you were familiar with it? There is some lovely imagery within it.

Best wishes.

Thank you all so much for the comments! Nothing serious - migraines are gone - election is over - just got out of the habit, I guess.
