WATERCOLOR INKS

Just using the 3 watercolor inks I have (red, blue, yellow) to make pseudo-flowers that will get pasted onto cards.  One even made its way to a Mother's Day card...

And while these were drying, I saw this mystery bird who had shown up from just ink drips and wipes on the foamboard.  I guess the birds are still calling to me (we have been having a few pretty ones coming through to the feeders lately, including 5 male rosy-breasted grosbeaks and 1 female).

I love watercolour when it's left to do its thing (trying to do that with my figure studies) - these flowers are great!

neat seeing how the colours have mixed together :)

Thanks so much for your comments, Sadami, Cathy and Jennifer Rose :) Cathy, I did just let the watercolors do their own thing - some look better than others, but they all are fresh - which is a good thing :)

gorgeous flowers. I like how one made it to a mother's day card. You are so creative!

Thanks, Carol. My mother liked the one I gave her :) Seems like all I'm painting lately are small things so easy to make cards from them. Small is okay but waiting for that enthusiasm and interest to return...
