GREEN

Another older, small painting.  Thinking about landscapes as the land becomes so green (from all the rain).

We are on the same wavelength. I have missed going out to paint the land too. So I've deleted my Backyard Wild blog and have started another based on my plein air work. I'll be anxious to see what you produce!

Beautiful greens, bright but natural. I'm especially attracted to the swath of turquoise!

Love the concept and the composition. Great job. We in India are desperately waiting for the rains.

Thanks, Debbie, Elizabeth (still haven't actually done any plein air but I will attempt it this year). Laura, so good to see you back online! Thanks so much.

Asit, you are struggling with drought and I wish you rain!! Thanks for the comments :)

This is beautiful! By the way, green is my favourite colour. :) Warm greetings from Montreal, Canada.

'Green' - Just stopped by - and bookmarked your art site. Just the other day was reviewing some images from Maxfield Parrish. His use of light and color. Today I see that you are channeling one of the art world's greatest painters. In my humble opinion - your work is brilliant. I especially noted 'Woods'. Will stop by again.

Thank you so much, Linda, for stopping by and for taking the time to comment. Living in Canada, I imagine you do like (and see) a lot of greens :) Have a wonderful weekend.

Elizabeth, thank you so much. Your words make we want to keep going. Sometimes we wonder why we keep on making art but if one person likes it and wants to return to see more, it's definitely worth it. You've made my day!!
