SPRING IMAGININGS THREE

Another small landscape on the Arches 140# rough paper block (7 x 10 inches).

Mohan's small hake brush might just be magic, afterall, or maybe it's the rough paper that allows the brush to skip across the paper, leaving nice lights I try to leave alone.

Lovely texture and wonderful colours, Rhonda!

Thanks, my dear Sadami! I think this one is my favorite of the three recent ones - not sure why but maybe because it shows a lot more depth and distance? Will work on some more - these are very quick and fun as long as I can leave them alone and not fiddle :)

Rhonda- not sure it is the tools- just might be the talent. Loving your green landscapes. Have a wonderful day. Hugs"

Beautifully done!
I would love to be able to do this, just can't. Have to stick with my "art" and come over and enjoy yours :)

The hake brush combined with the rough paper should leave lots of whites. Another beautiful spring image.

Thanks so much, Debbie and Carol! Tinna, thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment. I visited your blog and really like your paintings and photography - I'll be back to see what you're doing.

The strong diagonal makes a very exciting composition and gives it a lot of energy. Great brush work too!

Fabulous greens Rhonda

Thank you all so much, Carol, Lorraine and Lisa! Lisa, I do like a diagonal moving up the right side = seems more upbeat than the opposite way.
