FRESH PICKED TOMATOES

Here is the start of a full sheet (22" x 30") watercolor painting of tomatoes.  I'm going to try to go at this slowly and carefully, working wet-in-wet and adding colors on a bit at a time.

You are going boldly forward on a large sheet of watercolour paper! brave, yet you are still painting such beautiful and delicate washes. I am looking forward to seeing the next stage.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment, Liana!

Thanks, Susan. Patience is needed, that's a given :)

Christiane, thanks; I often do full sheets or half sheets - don't paint many small paintings anymore.

Thanks, Carol :)

Caroline, thanks - I hope I can keep that watercolor looking fresh through a few more layers :)

You've already got an awesome start and I love how you are capturing the look of not quite all the way ripe tomatoes.
