Mac picked two more paintings for the cd.  I think he will choose one more.  I can't wait to see it and share it with you!

Fallen Angels

Singing the Blues

(One of my favorites and now hanging on my livingroom wall.)

I think he's sticking to the blue theme - which I love - with a burst of color in the angel trumpets/daturas :)

His photo holding a gorgeous guitar will grace the cover and these will go inside the wallet foldout and on the back cover.

I mailed out my SWAP painting and some other surprise goodies to my secret partner yesterday.  It's travelling a long way so I did a guaranteed delivery - I'm sure it will get there next week.  This will be the final SWAP for our group and I know it will be and outstanding finale!

These really are divine--I love the trumpets' vines (so elegant and graceful) and the texture in the greens. And the blues and violets in the close-up just mesmerize me!

Both look great. I would choose the first one for my CD (well, I am tone-deaf, but who knows?)

Hi Rhonda,
These are two wonderful and most striking paintings. Great color, powerfully composed and a ton of "wow" factor, too.
Very impressive work, Rhonda.

Thanks, Sandy :)

Laura, don't get too mesmerized - paint instead :)

Thanks, Suzanne. I know you know all about cover art and cd projects!

Thanks, Irina :)

Gary, thanks - these are older works and Mac said he spent 3 hours roaming around my blog picking out his favorites.

Mac has a great eye for a great painter :) These are wonderful pieces, Rhonda. I especially love the texture you've created on Fallen Angels.

I really like both these paintings. They are so different. The yellows and greens on Yupo paper really calls to me. And the cool blues in the second one as well and the depth is quite striking.

Thanks, Pam. The texture was caused by putting down color on YUPO and then laying spider webbing (the Halloween stuff) down over that until it dried - a good trick!

Thanks, Carol! You know I love my cool colors :)

Rhonda, what a special honor to have your art included on the CD folder. The choices are all outstanding - love the colors, style and subjects. It will be very unique and very special. Great idea!

Thanks, Deb and Carol - you just never know where an opportunity to show your art will come from and this will be shown to a lot of people (and I get 3 copies of my own so I'll share the final look when I get them).
