Thanks, Laura. I think J.S. Sargent said a portrait was a painting with something wrong with the mouth? ha ha. For me, it’s the eyes!! I know some portrait artists paint the eyes first because, if that goes south, they just start over. Maybe I should do that next time - yep, think there will be a next time! ha ha
It's fantastic, Rhonda. Eyes are never quite right, imho!
