I think it's done Rhonda. Any additions will destroy the stark beauty of the painting detracting from the birds. I know my skies as you know, and this one has the perfect mood to it. This is one of my all time favorites of yours!
However... if you ere looking to "punch it up" some... perhaps raising the "blueness of the Jays... even in a subtle way would make the softness of the background less pronounced. Just a thought... if you really wanted a change...!
Dear Rhonda - I think it looks perfect the way it is. You have given it a feeling of sunlight- which makes it sing for me.
ReplyDeleteDitto, Rhonda.
ReplyDeleteWow, wow, wow~~! Rhonda, you created a masterpiece! Congrats. Please teach me how to do it. Best wishes, Sadami

Thanks, Debbie. I am glad you chimed in. I think the background is growing on me - it looks bright but the birds can hold their own against it.
ReplyDeleteLooks done to me - like early morning sky.
ReplyDeleteI like the background :) perfect lighting for the birds and it goes well with the Jays colours :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it, Deb and Jennifer Rose. I'm going to call it done!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as is -- good idea to call it done :)
