Hi Rhonda, How could I not comment on this beautiful portrait of a flower I know so well?! Beautifully executed in every respect. Thinking about Hawaii? Keep us in mind! Sincerely, Gary.
Gary, thanks for commenting - I know you can see these every day, lucky you!!! I've only seen then on trips or in florist shops. Yes, I've been thinking about Hawaii as the days turn cooler :) Still feeding my little hummingbird and probably won't take flight until she does! ha ha
There is a beautiful glow in this one. It's one of my favorite colour combinations. I have tried to paint these flowers a few times now but they always look so stiff and unnatural when I attempt it. Not so yours - it's lovely!
Hi, Rhonda, the wrok and the flowers are beautiful. Especially, a background is good to the subject. Weldone! Kind regards, Sadami
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Sadami. Another "female" plant on the board, waiting to dry...

ReplyDeleteLisa, I was thinking I didn't add enough pop to the colors, but I think it works this way and was pleased with the outcome :) Thanks for commenting!
