A TOUCH MORE ON THE SUNFLOWERS
I didn't do much more on the sunflowers painting except darken and change some greens here and there. Not really in a spring/sunny mood - it's still cold here and windy :( And, basically, did this to get myself away from the frustration of the Mr. Forbes painting.
Have a wonderful weekend!
It's cold and miserable here too but your sunflowers bring the warmth! I must plant some seeds soon ready for the warmer weather.
ReplyDeleteRhonda - those sunflowers look wonderful - how do you know when to stop and say it is finished? I never know when to quit. Thanks for bringing me a bit of summer.
ReplyDeleteYou have some gorgeous warm blends already Rhonda. Looking forward to seeing this finished especially as I know it will help to warm up my freezing bones.
ReplyDeleteHey Rhonda--Happy Day. Your anticipatory bouquet is appreciated. Winter is having it's last gasp here too. It's doomed. The buds on the trees are right fat, and a great big mamma robin just showed up in my pear tree. Best!
ReplyDeleteI just think those sunflowers are beautiful, Rhonda.
ReplyDeleteSnow coming tomorrow, Lisa, so these bits of warmth are going to be the only things for a while :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debbie. Just the petals to finish and I won't do much on them. I want to underwork instead of overwork, but tend to overwork!
Laura, thanks so much.
Bill, Hi! Thanks so much. Yes, we have a big fat robin (2, actually) who are eating our bird seed and suet (that is dropped on the ground under the feeder) - never saw that before but they are adapting to sticking around for our winters now.
Thanks so much, Sherry :)
