NEWER PAINTINGS AND OLDER PAINTINGS



After some good critiques by my blogger buddies - thanks! - I revised this painting.  I think it works now.  What do you think?




Other than this, I am pulling out old unfinished paintings to look at and maybe work on again. 


Here is one I may tackle - a full sheet of tomatoes in a box.  The photo came from a Salt Lake City, Utah farmer's market a couple of year's ago.  I'm calling it
Utah Heirlooms

    This second one more than works, Rhonda, it rocks! I love the detailing on the peelings, and that knife is just perfect. The plate situation was cleared up and it looks super now. A cool, clean painting.

    Rhonda - love the blue plate - it is so good you save your old paintings and pull them out and find solutions - some I keep but I confess alot I gesso over or toss. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.
