Nothing new to share - yet - but I did pull out some older pieces and take another look. What I found missing in them all was color and vibrancy. No kick. Dulled and timid color. So I amped up the color in these - just for fun.
I am a great believer in updating old stuff...somehow. And often it turns out quite well, like here :-) And this answer goes for your latest post, too.
Love these colours! Lots of exciting oooomph to them. The greens and blues are delicious and I really like the composition in that one.
ReplyDeleteLooking good! Put mats around them and you will see how this makes them really stand out...You will love them!
ReplyDeleteThese are all beautiful, Rhonda! I must say that those pelicans? Oh my oh my! I love that piece!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lisa, Christiane and Sherry. I think the pelicans are the winners in these three :)

ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Jane :) Perhaps those paintings I throw away every new year should be covered in gesso and recreated :)
