HAVE A HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Don't forget, tomorrow is Valentine's Day. I got my sweetie this beautiful little white chocolate raspberry cake at the grocery the other day. He got to eat almost 1/2 of it :) hee hee (Don't worry, he wasn't suffering without - I made him a pan of chewy brownies.)

I hope you get something good from your sweetie - or that you treat yourself, if you see something you want.

I am going to get my brushes full of water and pigment this weekend, no matter what - that is my Valentine's gift to myself!

And if the sun shines, I may get out and take a few more snow photos - it's still pretty pristine around except for the roads and driveways.

  1. Cute cake and I bet it tasted good too.

I don't go in for Valentine's Day so it will pass by unnoticed. But I will be painting.

  2. Enjoy sloshing with your wet on wet fully loaded brushes. Naughty girl pinching half that gorgeous looking sweetheart cake.

Our only homage to Valentine's Day is a bumper dinner of roast lamb and typical English roast potatoes with variety of veggies, Clive's favourite fruit - raspberries - with cream and, of course, a good bottle of red wine. Can't ewait for tonight!!!

  3. Jeanette, it was light and airy with just a hint of raspberry :) Yummy! And small enough that you didn't feel like too much of a piggie eating half! Painting is better than chocolate - I've come to realize that since I've been missing painting so much...
Joan, that cake was too tempting! Your dinner sounds delicious!!!! And what a nice way to spend it with your sweetie over a nice bottle of wine.
Enjoy, everyone, whether you have a special Valentine - or YOU are your special Valentine - do something fun, something you love, something that makes you smile so much that people wonder what you've been up to!
