DARK CROWS AND SUNLIT SNOW

It felt like forever since I last painted anything at all so it felt good to get right into this. Started by putting a dark grey/black color over a half sheet of Yupo and then going from there. This is what came from just an idea of a black crow.

And here is a heart I carved in the snow for my sweetie - and then threw some pink paint at it.

A few more snow scenes with a bit of sun shining now. We have enough feeders out to keep all the birds - and squirrels - happy.

  3. Rhonda, I love your playful personality. A heart in the snow with pink paint...what a great idea.

Your yupo crow looks very good....I especially like the texture and color of the two background borders.

    Have a nice week.

  4. Thanks, Gillian, glad you are enjoying the crows.
Pam, immediacy is the right word - just did it all within 1/2 hour or so. I have worked more on it and made some changes I'll share later.
Thanks, Christiane. I thought he looked too heavy and I didn't take the benefits of yupo into consideration so did some more work I'll share later. I didn't make or get him a card this year (and, of course, he didn't get out to get one for me) so this was it, plus the heart cake and brownies.

Thanks, Carol :) Glad you are liking them - the heart was buried in another 6 inches of snow after this was taken...we're still digging out.
