I love darks and whites - in other artists' paintings - but can't seem to "see" them and work them into mind. Perhaps I need to paint more with my glasses off?
Elizabeth, your work is so appealing to me, and I'll be looking forward to your nests :)RH Carpenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497161758269292809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7104034804712021440.post-78381576307339931872009-09-02T06:51:35.975-04:002009-09-02T06:51:35.975-04:00thank you for you comments on my blog. Love the texture.

As for fall, I do love it, and I suppose it is time to get back to work, but geez, I really enjoy my solitude and doing as I wish. Oh well I should be glad to be working, and I am, off I go.cathyswatercolorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03318863061595720021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7104034804712021440.post-69314380710365879802009-09-01T17:31:24.656-04:002009-09-01T17:31:24.656-04:00I checked back to the earlier King of Hearts post ...I checked back to the earlier King of Hearts post and, wow, you have certainly brought it along. Love the colours you have brought out and the way you have defined his face and hat and the little red heart shape. I 'cropped' the bottom by using the screen scroll but felt he was too 'tight' and enclosed in the resulting square format.Joan Sandford-Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04228835690449964257noreply@blogger.com
