Carol, I used to make these molded pieces when making paper - it was messy but fun and you have to do a lot (not like picking up a brush and watercolor and dabbing for a while!).

I think the consensus is that the top acrylic painting was the best - hmmm... well, we'll see where it goes from here. I do not care for the second, later version so more fiddling...

RH Carpenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497161758269292809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7104034804712021440.post-46478814099801410882015-07-28T09:19:47.987-04:002015-07-28T09:19:47.987-04:00That flamingo is wonderful.

I've decided it's because my mind is processing bits and isn't ready to move forward. I love that additional bit of interest and it takes this from wonderful to spectacular. As to the first piece, I actually loved it as it was...it was like a little distant village or big house sitting out there. I wanted to walk to it and see more.Autumn Leaveshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04010044052621228719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7104034804712021440.post-20400647461214124452015-07-28T05:05:02.591-04:002015-07-28T05:05:02.591-04:00Pastels did wonders to the work. You do not like it because it did not turn out the way you wanted it to. I find it very exciting. Love the flamingo and the molded shell. Jeez Louise are you crafty! :) Cute crow with a heart.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7104034804712021440.post-3354276161961353692015-07-27T17:31:57.184-04:002015-07-27T17:31:57.184-04:00Hi Rhonda :)

Now it looks like a fishing
boat in heavy weather on the sea :)Maybe
some lines with an ink liner to give it
more shape would have been better. Well,
that's what I would have done with it :))
But I like the boat also :))
And I like your flamingo very much, nice
to see it done with one colour.
And the card is a very fine idea :)

Have a beautiful week!
Möwe

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05252083554715159717noreply@blogger.com
