There isn't a yupo group - it's a Yahoo group (on Yahoogroups.com) all about color theory, color discussions, etc.
Cathy, sorry you are worn out from working :( The color group is working on painting using complements - that's all this is. Stay tuned for the rest of the poured painting - it has many stages to go!
Thanks, Susan, I'm glad you like it and hope the poured painting turns out okay...one never knows!RH Carpenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05497161758269292809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7104034804712021440.post-48781750214985695552009-02-05T07:26:00.000-05:002009-02-05T07:26:00.000-05:00I think it is an excellent choice! If this is just the study, the painting will be a great one.Watercolors by Susan Roperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15091873961431846148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7104034804712021440.post-87977245029621726852009-02-05T07:00:00.000-05:002009-02-05T07:00:00.000-05:00Hi Rhonda, I have too tired from work to even go o...Hi Rhonda, I have too tired from work to even go online lately. I do like the yellow and violet. It balances the violet. I think it's successful. What is the yahoo color challenge? Are you planning on painting over the misket pour? This looks interesting to me?cathyswatercolorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03318863061595720021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7104034804712021440.post-63198943520040424632009-02-05T06:55:00.000-05:002009-02-05T06:55:00.000-05:00Fancy attending a group just for YUPO - you lucky ...Fancy attending a group just for YUPO - you lucky girl. Yes, opposite colour scheme good but it seems to be missing any real darks when you look at the tonal aspect. Is that to come. ??Joan Sandford-Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04228835690449964257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7104034804712021440.post-44300477344311338182009-02-04T18:58:00.000-05:002009-02-04T18:58:00.000-05:00LOVE the distant upper background area with that r...LOVE the distant upper background area with that red glaze to knock it back.
